Raed Anis AL-JISHI

is a world-reknown poet & translator from Saudi Arabia. He is a recipient of the honorary fellowship in writing "The International Writing Program Fall Residency of 2015" in Iowa City (USA).

He has published one novel and ten volumes of poetry, and has his works translated into several languages.

Alongside a career as a writer, he teaches high school chemistry in his native city of Qateef. He identifies himself a feminist and human rights activist, and works on issues involving children and literacy.
